Processing is the amount of time it takes for us to prepare your order. Shipping is how long it takes for the shipping carrier to ship your order.

Yes, Maori hair is accessible worldwide! However, Maori only covers import fees for most countries so, certain customers may be responsible for certain customs fees, duties, and taxes depending on their country.

The customer must file a claim with the shipping courier. Maori hair is not responsible for any lost/stolen items. If you have selected route protection, our order is insured with them and you must file a claim with them. Once approved you will be issued a a refund to place another order

Once you’ve realized you’ve made a mistake on a submitted order, contact a Maori representative immediately. If the order is still being processed we may be able to fix an error. However, if it’s already gone out to a shipping carrier, there’s nothing that can be done. Make sure to double-check forms pre-submission to avoid this altogether!

Yes! Our hair is double drawn to ensure that the hair is as thick as possible and the majority of it will be similar/same length.

Yes! However we recommend going to a professional for this service.

No, It isn’t! However, we highly recommend that you treat this hair like your real hair. Shampoo it and deep condition it at least 2x a month (every two weeks). Avoid using heavy products that weighs the hair down. See our hair care page for more information.

 

Washing:
ALWAYS wash your hair before installation.

Afterwards, wash your hair bi-weekly (every two weeks) wash with a decent SULFATE-FREE shampoo and conditioner! Rinse in cool-lukewarm water, but NEVER hot!

Co-Washes are fine as well, however shampoo is recommended to guarantee cleanliness.

Let your hair air dry after washing.

If you choose to use a blow dryer, use it on the lowest setting. If used on a higher setting, make sure to apply heat protectant.

Detangling:
Detangle your extension when wet! And always move from downward-up. Detangling on dry hair can cause avoidable breakage. It’s best to detangle with a brush or a wide tooth comb.

Deep Conditioning:
While deep conditioning isn’t mandatory, it does keep hair in its best state. So, if you have 15 minutes to spare, sit in a deep conditioner for a few and rinse with cold water afterward. Your hair will thank you later!

Keep heat and an overload of products at a minimum! When applying heat to your hair you MUST use heat protectant. Additionally, over application of products can cause hair to become stiff and tangle.

Bedtime:
When going to bed, make sure to securely wrap your hair and if you want to be extra secure, you can do a braid down as well.
